酋󠄁長・毛虫・むかで
カロリン諸島やオーストラリアのあやとりです。
W. H. Furness氏がヤップ島で採集しました。[15]
「芋虫」[60] や「むかで」[77] とも呼ばれます。
できあがりは「女に逃げられた男」と似ていますが、糸のかかり方が異なります。
  1. 始めの構え。
  2. 左親指で手前から左親指の糸を取り、糸を１回巻き付ける。
  3. 右人差指で左親指に巻き付けた糸を取る。
  4. 左人差指で右人差指の輪の間から右掌の糸を取る。
  5. 右人差指で左人差指の輪の間から左掌の糸を取る。
  6. 左手の糸を外し、右手を水平にして糸を垂らす。
  7. 右人差指先の糸を根元の糸を越えて根元に移す。
  8. 左小指で右人差指根元の向こうの糸を、左親指で右人差指先の向こうの糸を、それぞれ右人差指向こうの糸の間から取り、右人差指の糸を外す。
  9. 親指の輪を手前へ半回転ひねる。
  10. 親指で小指手前の糸を取る。
  11. カロリン展開。
    1. 人差指で親指向こうの糸を取り、親指でその糸を人差指に押し付けながら掌を向こうへ向けて展開する。
